Reliable level indication without feed of electrical power

The excellent readability of the level is not impaired by turbid or translucent liquids to be measured. The wide, red- and silver-colored flag indicator system is easily and clearly readable, even from far distances.

Function

Like a compass needle, the float in the visual level indicator is always aligned with the patented magnetic guide tape that is integrated into the indication rail. While the float follows the level of the liquid, a magnetic field force is transmitted to the outside. It is used to turn around the color-coded, magnetically biased flags in an indication rail installed on the standpipe. Maximum functional flexibility is combined with the advantages of the high field density of the bar magnet!

Easy readability with a high degree of safety

The not always unproblematic and sometimes also hazardous liquids are safely enclosed in the dense and pressure-tight float standpipe and separated from the indicator.

The wide, red- and silver-colored flag indicator system is easily and clearly readable, even from far distances. The fully transparent flag indicator system made of polycarbonate also ensures that the level can also be read from the side. This results in a causal visual readability of the liquid level in the tank that leaves no room for interpretation. By using an additionally mounted measuring scale, individual values (e.g. in %, volume, liter, etc.) can be read directly.

Using an optional malfunction indicator, also abnormal positions of the float, e.g. abnormal low or high levels, or a damaged float can be shown.

Satisfying any requirement

Depending on the requirements, the indication rails are available as polycarbonate (< 150 °C), aluminum or stainless steel (< 400 °C) or as combined versions.

For visual level indicators that are used in harsh environments, reinforced connection elements are available. Thanks to the permanent magnets that are integrated into each indicator flag, it is ensured that the indicator flags are magnetically coupled and stabilized in their position. Together with the damping effect of the magnetic guide tape, clear level indication is also ensured under difficult operating conditions (e.g. extremely rapidly changing levels due to pressure surges, vibrations, shock loads, etc.).

As a protection against dust, dirt, icing or moisture, we recommend using the polyolefin protective tube. For applications at low temperatures (e.g. LNG) we recommend using an anti-freeze block ensuring readability.
